Join DLC in working toward a barrier-free, inclusive Massachusetts where residents with disabilities enjoy equal rights, dignity, choice, independence and freedom from abuse, neglect, and discrimination.

Our Board

DLC Board of Directors members are individuals who are passionate about the rights of people with disabilities. All or most of our Board members are persons with disabilities or have strong connections to the disability community through a family member. In order to best meet the needs of DLC’s client community, the Board seeks to reflect the ethnic, racial, geographic, socioeconomic and disability diversity of Massachusetts. Board members work together to guide the Disability Law Center’s strategic direction, establish the budget and policies, evaluate the effectiveness of our work, and raise funds. We are looking for members who embrace DLC’s mission, are community leaders, and are ready to actively participate in Board meetings, engage in Board committees, and support DLC’s goals of enhancing our capacity to serve the diverse disability community of the Commonwealth.

Selection of Board members is based on grant requirements, Board needs, and relevant applicant qualifications.
