We recently celebrated Disability Law Center’s 40th Anniversary with a fundraiser, award ceremony and film debut. We are thrilled to share that we raised over $50,000 to support DLC’s advocacy and deepen the impact of our work.
DLC’s debuted screening of ‘Wheels of Justice’ was a resounding success. The film shines a light on how people with disabilities are fighting for their legal rights in a society that has yet to fully realize that these rights exist. DLC plans to keep the momentum going with screenings throughout the upcoming year. Stay in touch for upcoming screenings near you.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to make your donation, it is not too late to join the fight for Disability Rights by donating here.
Once again, we would like to thank our honorees for their dedication to improving the lives of people living with disabilities in Massachusetts.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event, who generously sponsored and donated, and who have supported DLC through its 40 year history of fighting for the legal rights of people with disabilities.
We are so grateful for our supportive community! ‘The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die’ ~ Edward Kennedy.
A very special thank you to all of our sponsors:
